Continuous Professional Development

I've spent the day (in between customers) updating my CPD for National Institute of Medical Herbalists.

CPD is continuous professional development and can consist of attending lectures, leading herb walks, basically anything that shows a commitment to keeping your skills up to date and being aware of the latest research. It can be a headache if left to the end of the year so I'm being kind to Future Charlotte by doing it as it occurs - today's batch is based on my time at Power of Plants Festival 2025, reflecting on the research presented there and how it'll impact my practice. I've already used Simon Mills' latest research on the gut as our own phytomedicine in treating two patients since I've been back.
